The night before the 1831 riots hundreds of Sledge Hammers were 'borrowed' from an Iron Foundry, they were used during to break down the doors of four prisons. All but two of these hammers were returned. The hammers were recreated for Bristol Radical History Week exhibition and the film is by artist Mark Sands.
